While som plug-ins are distributed for free, other plug-ins might sell at 50 USD - and yet others at more than 1.000 USD. It all depends on the scientific uniqueness of the plug-in, and of course its size and comprehensiveness.
The development and distribution process is simple:
- You develop a specialized bioinformatics plug-in for one or more CLC Workbenches
- We test your module for bugs, for scientific correctness, and for relevance as a commercial plug-in
- We protect your plug-in with a secure license key framework and help you to set the right price
- We sell and distribute your plug-in through our website and through our other sales and marketing channels
